What does your workspace look like?
I have a two monitor setup connected to my laptop via a docking station. Typically I have calipers, tool holders  and an assortment of different endmills for whatever job that I am currently working on.

I also work out in the shop at the DMU 50 which has a variety of tool holders and various files and measuring equipment.

One word that best describes how you work:

What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on manufacturing a part that another shop was not able to make. Unfortunately that's the most I can say! Protecting our customer's projects and ideas is one of our top priorities.

What would you say is your specialty?
I am good at looking at parts and figuring out the best way for them to be manufactured.

Any tips for our customers?
When designing a part, try to keep manufacturability in mind. Seemingly insignificant features can greatly affect the final cost of a part.

What project are you most proud of and why?
I have had the privilege of working on projects in nearly every type of industry.  I am proud to have manufactured parts that have been launched into space as well as parts used to save lives.

Are you reading any interesting technical papers?
I am constantly keeping an eye out for new manufacturing processes and improvements.

Have any conferences or workshops you plan on attending this year?
There are not any conferences or workshops that I am currently planning on attending, but I am always interested in learning about new processes and tools for manufacturing.

What’s one thing you do when you’re not working?
I have recently gotten into building and flying FPV race drones. It is exhilarating to build a drone from scratch and then go pilot it from the point of view of the drone itself.
