Aerion Supersonic's AS2 is the first privately built supersonic commercial aircraft designed to fly at supersonic speeds over land with no noise on the ground. Providing a broad engineering software portfolio and an extensive history of implementation, Applied CAx and Siemens Digital Industries Software will allow Aerion Supersonic to realize the digital thread from design, analysis, test, and certification to streamlining of future manufacturing.

 

 

By using these cutting-edge digital tools, Aerion can foresee and remove barriers to market entry, reducing design and analysis complexity. Applied CAx’s experience with engineering and business processes will be leveraged by Aerion Supersonic to define and develop their PLM roadmap, portfolio of tools, training and mentorship needs, and implementation of the Siemens digital software suite.
