Teamcenter Developer

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates in the United States.

About the role

Applied CAx is a Siemens Software Solution Partner supporting innovative design and manufacturing companies with software and technical services. We were recognized as the 2023 Partner of The Year for North America. The industries we primarily support are aerospace, defense, and energy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to define requirements for custom software solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software for internal and external customers.
  • Create and maintain documentation and provide training and support for internal and external customers on custom software developed by Applied CAx.
  • Perform updates and upgrades on custom software as required.
  • Handle L1/L2 support tickets and provide end-user support.
  • Collaborate with PLM services team members to avoid unnecessary customization of customer systems.
  • Develop expertise in areas of Teamcenter such as BMIDE, Active Workspace, workflows, change management, and access manager.
  • Develop expertise in Mendix.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and try new things.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Or equivalent years of experience in creating customer behaviors and programs (5+)

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience creating Teamcenter customizations
  • Experience with Teamcenter 12.x and higher
  • 5+ years of experience with C++ ITK
  • Experience with requirements gathering
  • Experience with Javascript
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and JSON
  • Experience with Teamcenter SOA framework
  • Experience with Web APIs
  • Experience with Windows Servers
  • Experience using Git
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline

Nice to have

  • Experience with Active Workspace customization
  • Deep understanding of Teamcenter functionality and modules
  • Experience with creating customizations for CAD software
  • Experience creating standalone web or desktop applications
  • Experience with creating data transformation software
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other database software
  • Experience with C# and/or Python
