- Ability to interface with a wide range of users and instruct and mentor them.
- Provide timely technical support for Applied CAx customers.

As a Project Manager in our PLM Services division, you will be responsible for leading the successful execution of PLM-related projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, are delivered on time, and stay within scope and budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end PLM implementation and optimization projects for external clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The Opportunity
Join a premier FEA/CFD consultancy in a unique dual role: 60% advanced CFD consulting and 40% Senior Application Engineer supporting Siemens STAR-CCM+ clients through our sister company, AppliedCAx.
You’ll tackle complex thermal-fluid simulation challenges across industries—from controlled environment agriculture and electronics cooling to aerospace to rocket motors to hypersonic vehicles to fluid-flow mixing to turbo machinery to mundane HVAC—while engaging directly with customers through demos, webinars, and technical presentations. If you strive to be a world-class simulation engineer, this is the place for you.
What You’ll Do
CFD Consulting: Lead advanced simulations in STAR-CCM+, manage projects from proposal to delivery, and produce high-quality technical reports. Travel to client sites for kick-off meetings and presentations (4–7 days/month domestic).
Application Engineering: Conduct client demonstrations of STAR-CCM+ and to a lesser extent HEEDS, AMESIM and, at times, how it all integrates into Simcenter 3D. Provide pre/post-sales technical support and create webinars and technical content for the Siemens simulation community.
A Typical Week: Morning—present CFD results for airflow optimization within a large datacenter. Afternoon—demo STAR-CCM+ to a prospect exploring electronics thermal management for satellite systems. Next week—site visit to a California rocket manufacturer to talk about thermal-stress modeling of 3D printed rocket motors, then record a webinar on turbulence modeling best practices with AI.
What We’re Looking For
Required: – 5+ years professional CFD simulation experience – MS or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering – Expert proficiency in Siemens STAR-CCM+ – Strong written/verbal communication skills – U.S. Citizenship (export control requirements)
Preferred: – PhD and/or PE license – Experience with Simcenter 3D, HEEDS, Amesim – Scripting skills (Python, Java, MATLAB) – Prior application engineering or technical sales experience
