We’re excited to welcome Rajesh Kumar to the team as a Teamcenter Solution Architect! He brings over 14 years of experience in engineering solutions and product lifecycle management. With a strong background in computer science, Rajesh specializes in Teamcenter configuration and customization, as well as administration, upgrades, implementations, and CAD integrations.
Rajesh has worked across a range of industries, including consumer packaging and goods, electronics, and defense, contributing to robust and scalable PLM solutions.
Q: What made you want to join the Applied team?
A: I worked for three years as a customer success manager, but last year, I decided to move on. Thanks to Applied CAx, I finally got back to work in the technology area.
Q: What are your areas of expertise?
A: Teamcenter, covering most of the PLM area.
Q: What’s your background or education?
A: I have a master’s in computer science.
Q: How did you get started in your field?
A: My first company was the first PLM adopter in India. Since then, I never looked back. The company is known as Tata Motors.
Q: Where are you based?
A: Currently based in Cincinnati, OH.
Q: What’s your favorite way to start the day?
A: Self-prepared team (I don’t like others preparing for me).
Q: What’s a favorite quote or motto you live by?
A: It is ok to fail, because you don’t learn from success, but failure will teach you new lessons.
Q: What’s something new you’ve learned recently, work-related or not?
A: Something work-related I am proud of is TCX/Active Space. Outside of work, I am proud of AI Agentic.
Q: What’s a professional achievement you’re proud of?
A: I received Siemens Rewards for successful service work multiple times.
