The solution: M2TC

We offer data migrations to Teamcenter, leveraging our internally developed processes and tools. To streamline the process, we endeavored to automate as much of it as possible. Instead of writing and creating custom scripts for each migration, we developed a proprietary process to speed data migration into Teamcenter.

What is involved in migrating data to Teamcenter?

Migrating legacy data to teamcenter can be a long time consuming process. Without these tools, it could take 6 months to a year for a typical migration. 

With our processes and tools, we've brought that down to a few months. Breaking it down into cycles, we break it down into phases.

Data extraction

First you need to extract the data from all the different sources and locations. 
We can take data that's in a different PDM system.
We can take data that's on network locations.

S2TC extracts and transforms the data
M2tC is leveraged for transformations of that data in updating of the metadata before it gets pushed back into the file.
