AeroTEC’s Teamcenter Journey: modernized data management and workflows

Bringing in Teamcenter as its PLM solution allowed AeroTEC to improve its data management. In the early stages, the team used the platform primarily as a data repository without fully leveraging its capabilities, a starting point that quickly evolved as AeroTEC began to understand the depth of what the tool could do.

From there, AeroTEC focused on two immediate priorities: streamlining its change management process and tightening control over ITAR-restricted data. Both were addressed through tools within the Xcelerator portfolio, allowing the company to digitalize its product development process and simplify how user access to sensitive data was managed.

AeroTEC also implemented Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics to pull insights directly from the design cycle. The result was better visibility into product data, enabling more data-driven decisions and improving overall operational efficiency.
