Applied CAx is an award-winning Siemens PLM Software sales and engineering company based in Portland, Oregon. We are looking for a talented individual that can open doors for the Applied CAx sales team.

As a Sales Development Rep (SDR), this entry-level position is a key part of our Sales & Marketing team and will play a fundamental role in achieving our revenue growth objectives.

This position requires: 

  •   Ability to execute a planned/scripted call while making it feel like a conversation 
  •   Research potential new prospects using various web-based tools
  •   Strong phone presence and ability to hold dozens of quality phone conversations per day 
  •   Maintain CRM accounts and lead records with detailed notes (25%+ of daily activity)
  •   Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively 
  •   An affinity for technical topics


  •   Develop new sales opportunities with qualified buyers
  •   Source sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up  
  •   Source sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails 
  •   Identify qualifying prospects, generate interest and route qualified opportunities to sales reps 
  •   Maintain and expand our CRM database of prospects within our assigned territory 
  •   Work as a team to build pipeline and close deals

Expectations and Experience: 

  •   Candidates must currently be living in the Portland, Oregon metro area
  •   Bachelor’s degree 
  •   Show commitment to monthly/quarterly quotas
  •   Ability to deliver on daily/weekly call and activity targets
  •   Quantifiable evidence of past success and ongoing learning
