As a Teamcenter Systems Architect, you will:

  • Have high competency in Teamcenter deployments and upgrades.
  • Experienced with the different phases of development and deployment on Windows and other server systems.
  • Be proficient in Teamcenter both with the Rich Client and Active Workspace user interfaces.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
  • Meet with business leaders/sponsors to provide technical guidance and transpose business needs into functional, technical and system requirements.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Azure deployments of Teamcenter highly desired.
  • Provide weekly status reports to business stakeholders.

 Education, Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years Teamcenter Architect experience.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-moving high-pressure environment.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to give both business facing and technical presentations that convey complex topics.
  • Must have experience in all aspects of Teamcenter implementations including upgrades and patching.
  • Must have experience with BMIDE, workflows, preferences, CAD Integrations, Organization, Security, and Change Management. 
  • Must have experience writing documentation for Teamcenter deployments and training.
  • Must have strong appetite for quickly learning new technologies and be able to quickly adapt to changes.

NX Application Engineer

Salary Range: $110-130k
Remote Work Option

Responsibilities

  • Ability to interface with a wide range of users and instruct and mentor them.
  • Provide timely technical support for Applied CAx customers.
  • Constantly expanding your own abilities through on-demand learning and skills development.
  • Stay up to date with latest NX versions and current modeling and manufacturing techniques.
  • Develop NX CAD/CAM training with NX in a Managed environment (Teamcenter).
  • Co-develop and lead Teamcenter user training.
  • Travel to customers locations when necessary to lead training, mentorship, or gather requirements for project work.
  • Develop NX Site Standards, custom templates, for modeling and drawings; preferably with the use of NXcustom.
  • Develop custom applications for clients using NX Application Launcher, Attribute Mapping, NX Checkmate, and configuring the NX Reuse Library with the Siemens Machinery Library. NX Routing applications for Electrical, Mechanical and Schematics.
  • Become familiar with NX Line Designer, NX Physical Architecture Modeler, Mechatronics Concept Designer, NX Join, NX Algorithmic Programming, NX Implicit Modeling, NX Structure Designer & customization, NX PMI with automated authoring.

Technical Software Sales, Account Manager

Applied CAx is a Siemens Software Solution Partner supporting innovative design and manufacturing companies with software and technical services and support primarily throughout the Western US. Position Description: A fast-paced, high-growth position. Responsibilities include managing our extensive database of clients, ramp-up learning on Siemens PLM software products, software order placement and databases (i.e., Salesforce) and handling inside sales calls from existing clients.

  • Strong emphasis on prospecting and cultivating new business for Applied CAx.
  • Articulate, well organized, and able to communicate professionally to C-level executives and below.
  • Able to cover assigned territories with overnight travel duties; usually not more than (6) nights per month.
  • Quick and fluid with all standard software office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Develop and manage a territory plan with assistance from the Sales Technical Director and Marketing Director.
  • Build and maintain a database of contacts and prospects using a CRM tool. Salesforce or equivalent.
  • Develop and deliver forecasts to management that are professional and accurate.
  • Identify and initiate periodic sales campaigns.
  • Coordinate demos of Siemens PLM software.

Desired Attributes:

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with 2+ years’ experience selling technical software (e.g., Autodesk, Dassault, PTC, Siemens, etc.). The candidate should have excellent communication skills, high work ethic, the desire to ensure client success and the ability to independently manage their daily workflow.

Required Qualifications: BS or BA (minimum) Quantifiable communication skills. Must provide examples of business letters and presentations. Multi-disciplinary qualifications that demonstrate a high work ethic. Business Development Lead

You will play a fundamental role in achieving our revenue growth objectives. This position requires:

  • High motivation and drive without management intervention
  • Strong phone presence and experience in making strategic calls

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Administrator

Salary Range: $50-60k with variable compensation component

Role: The Sales Admin will support Applied CAx’s Sales and Operations teams in managing tasks on a daily basis. This role is essential to securing new business and managing existing client relationships through administrative tasks. If you enjoy diverse and challenging work this may be the position for you.

 

Operations Support

  • Place new orders, trial orders, trade-ins, and transfers through Siemens Partner Portal, ensuring discounts and promos are accurately applied 
  • Support Administrative Assistant and work with Siemens Partners to manage ongoing maintenance orders and contracts with exceptional attention to detail
  • Create invoices on a monthly basis and send to clients in a timely manner
  • Follow up with clients to secure purchase orders, e-signatures, and payment
  • Develop strong relationships with Siemens partners and clients to resolve problems and questions as they arise
  • Assist with Subscription Renewal Orders/Opportunities - helping account managers transition maintenance clients to a subscription contract
  • Investigate and resolve issues with Siemens Partner Portal
  • Work with Account Managers and Operations to streamline existing processes and develop efficient systems
  • Proactively assist with accounts receivables
  • Prepare/send invoices
  • Receive payments
  • Collection calls/emails
  • Escalate to Account Managers as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of contact information and customer-facing communication.
  • Document all processes to create standard operating manual  

 

Sales Support

  • Quickly generate quotes for clients in QuickBooks, working with Siemens and Account Managers to ensure accurate pricing
  • Register new deals through Salesforce
  • Run credit checks and help Account Managers assess credit worthiness for new clients
  • Maintain accurate contact database
  • Contribute to and collaborate on client-facing documents and presentations as requested by Account Managers – proficiency with Excel preferred
  • First point of contact for incoming sales calls and new leads 
  • Evaluate viability of new prospects 

 

Marketing Support

  • Maintain a general email list of current business contacts as provided by management and Account Managers 
  • Assist Marketing team with content creation as needed including newsletters, marketing collateral, website content, course materials, testimonials.
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Contact clients and partners via phone and email in advance of key events and trainings
  • Assist with making arrangements including securing event space, coordinating with guests and speakers, lodging and accommodations, answering questions from students and clients.
  • Capture contact information from attendees and prospects and upload into database
  • Follow up with attendees post-event to obtain feedback and facilitate conversations

 

General Support as Designated by Management

At times, tasks will be assigned to the Sales Admin that may fall outside of the above list of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to shifting priorities and tackle new projects as they arise. Flexibility, clear communication skills, and strong work ethic are essential qualities in this role.

Content Marketing Intern

Applied CAx is looking for an energetic, creative, collaborative person who loves writing and is excited to join the marketing team of a growing technology consulting company. This position is ideal for someone interested in growing their content marketing, digital marketing, and communications skills. Your job will focus on research and writing of blogs, news articles, white papers, social media posts, video storylines and other communications. Strong writing skills are important, as well as the openness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and the willingness to tackle complex concepts and topics, such as manufacturing, engineering, and industrial technology.

Position Description: Assist our Digital Marketing Manager and our Sales Managers as we provide content, messaging, and materials to our existing and prospective customers.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to social media publishing and strategy (content creation and planning, brand management and reporting)
  • Monitoring email, social media, and digital communications
  • Website management assistance (content entry, layout adjustment)
  • Writing copy for various marketing channels
